Full description
Driving through the Geysir Hot Spring area with its boiling mud pits and spouting hot springs, you will head straight toward Langjökull Glacier for a snowmobile tour. The surrounding snowfields will take your breath away while you enjoy the thrill of dashing across Europe’s second largest glacier. Continue to a glacial ice cave, going over 300 feet deep into the ancient ice. Marvel at the layers of ash from past volcanic eruptions.

For your last stop of the day tour in Iceland, be taken near the small village of Flúðir. Ease into a secret outdoor lagoon, a natural hot spring, for a luxurious bath to soothe all your cares away.

Snow mobile was a lot of fun. We did not get to go to the ice cave. Not really an explanation of why, the guide said people were checking it out and we never heard anymore. The secret lagoon was good, nice and warm. Very crowded for a winter's afternoon.

After the initial confusion over pick up points (no pick up details were sent to us but it may have been due to us booking this the day before the tour) it was a fun and enjoyable tour. Gunni was an excellent guide with plenty of stories and anecdotes which made the trip even more enjoyable. Snowmobiling was the best part of the trip although the Secret Lagoon was a great experience too (better than the blue lagoon for us). Just a shame we couldn’t explore the ice caves due to bad weather which we were very much looking forward to. Awesome wheels too in a pimped up Mercedes Sprinter!

An amazing day!

Definitely one to do! Our guide Araggi was friendly and patient and very knowledgeable and informative. We felt completely safe with him and confident in his experience. Really fast pick up at the cruise terminal in Reykjavik and then a fun drive up to the glacier where then scenery transformed to white! The snow suits were lovely and warm and the snowmobiles were so much fun to ride. The ice cave was interesting and not gimmicky which we appreciated. The secret lagoon was a fantastic end to the day. Thanks so much for a day to remember!
