What people are saying about Râșnov

Theo was an excellent guide - gave us so much more than expected.

Theo was an excellent guide and driver - we enjoyed being the only ones in the car with him. Both Peles and Bran castles were quite different but impressive in their own right. Peles was a beautiful example of a 19thC castle with all its splendour whilst Bran, perched high on craggy rocks, was full of interesting twisting staircases and tales. We enjoyed th history of the place. Unfortunately I had knee problems and couldn't manage Raznov. The old town of Brasnov was pretty, reminding us of Heidelberg - of course there is German history there anyhow. The story of the black church intrigued us which we happily saw in place of Rasnov. Theo took us to lunch in an excellent underground cellar restaurant.

What an amazing experience! Insightful and fun

The tour was an absolute treat. I booked the tour online and met Horia at the pickup location on time. From the start everything was very professional. The car was spacious and comfortable. Our guide, Horia, was captivating in his explanations of local history. He is also a sommelier so we had great conversations about wine. The trip was a full day tour. We learned more from this guided tour than from any other of our trips across Europe. Romania is a fascinating country with a rich past. Kudos to you!

Comprehensive introduction to Transylvania

Diana and Christian were a splendid duo - guide and driver. They were both very personable and spoke excellent English. They knew so much about the area and we had a great 2 days. It was early December and so cold, but that added to our experience. Snagov Monastery, Peles and Bran Castles, Rasnov fortress and Brasnov are all worth seeing. So much better to have personal guides rather than being on a group tour. We could not have seen as much if we had done it on our own using public transport.

Best guided tour I've been on...EVER!!

Our guide was great from start to end. Plenty of time to enjoy each sight and he even took time out to let us capture the best photos. We skipped every queue and even got a little gift at the end. We loved this tour, plenty of variety and time to yourself to explore. Our guide Stephen was AMAZING, and he even booked us a table at his favourite restaurant on the way home. 5* service with a smile!!!

Exceptional tour - would recommend to anyone

The guide and car driver were very friendly and informative. They would do anything for us - stopped along the way to take photos when requested and were happy to do anything we requested. Were always waiting for us on time and assisted us with all requests. Extremely friendly and helpful. The tour is a very good short insight into Romania- would one day like to return for a longer tour.
