Great coach - average boat

Paid a little bit more to go on a smaller boat than other tours go on as it offered "an intimate cruise experience. There is plenty of room to move around, fewer crowds, and the local crew provide an informative personal tour of Milford Sound." At the cruise harbour about 50% of the boats were this size, and they all follow exactly the same route so you don't get to see anything more on this boat compared to any of the others. Coach driver was truly excellent. Lots of information and interesting stops. Funny and friendly. Boat captain / guide was a lot less chatty and informative... would have been better for the coach driver to do the commentary on the boat. Overall, a good tour... the little extra compared to other tours was worth it for the driver, but certainly not worth it for the boat.

Spectacular, breathtaking views.

If you only do one trip when in Queenstown do this one! Spectacular, breathtaking views. Highly recommend this coach trip as it is a long journey if you are driving and you will miss the scenery. Our driver was fantastic, a great guide, informative and stopped off at interesting places too for short breaks.

Stunning scenery

Great driver and guide, excellent views, the travel could not be bettered. Lunch was disappointing there being two cheese course. The boat trip was at best OK, the commentary was lost due to poor speaker system and the open deck seating inadequate for those aboard. Not a trip I would repeat.
