What people are saying about Quebec City
AML cruise didn't want to accept the virutal/e-voucher. was not indicated on the voucher, that one has to Exchange the voucher to a physical ticket at the office before embarking. had to go back to the Office booth and to get a printed tickets. don't think this is the idea of electronic vouchers with bar codes. Office staff could not explanin and also did not apologies. we were one of the first at the Pier for a nice place in the front of the boat. but as we had to go back in the meantime (did take at least 5-10 min) a huge bus/School group arrived. Long queue you can imagine, and nice space gone. otherwise all good, enjoyed the tour nevertheless.
This trip was worth the time and money. Informative commentary, wonderful views of the Chateau and Montmorency Falls. Boarding was efficient and welcoming. Outside and inside seating making the trip comfortable variable weather conditions. The cost of refreshments typical for this type of activity. There is hourly or daily parking at the terminal. This is slightly more than street parking but the convenience makes it worthwhile for those with physical limitations. aka don't like steps.
Informative, relaxing, over all good trip. Two minor things, beer bottles were not cold, maybe freshly restocked warm ones? Wished cold tap beer was an option. Front of boat has blue tarp around railing to block wind, but it also blocks view and makes it hot. Standing up was so much better.
Relaxing tour, informative guide, although a non English speaker would have had difficulties understanding the English commentary. Perhaps a full text edited by a native English speaker should be used by your not fully bilingual commentators, rather than an ad lib version.
The tour was very well done and the narrator was vivacious and knowledgeable. Going back and forth from French to English could not have been done better. It was a beautiful day for a cruise on the St. Lawrence and cruise staff was courteous and helpful. Nicely done!
