Beatiful Day Trip of local history and Saona Island

A long day definitely not for babies and small Children (a lot of alcohol on the catamaran) Tour of Altos de Chavo'n beautiful! Our guide Benjamin was very informative and friendly! The catamaran ride to the Island was a large party with dancing and alcohol. I saw a mother take her children to a different part of the boat. We were nervous with no life jackets. Saona Island and the national park are gorgeous! dinner was average as it has to be shipped earlier. then we left on a large speed boat to a natural pool you can walk with starfish! We all wore Life Jackets and we were very pleased with attention to safety! The starfish and the water is so amazing! I would have given a higher rating except the van was 30 min late picking us up with no notice and we were concerned we missed them and the lounge chairs at Saona were dirty with bird poop! all in all a great experience we loved our Guide Benjamin!

The best tour to Samana! Highly Recommend!

I have been to the DR many times, this is my 4th experience to Samana and this was by far the best tour I have ever taken! Excellent service, organization, guides are superb! Although there was a slight delay during pick up (about 7 minutes) once the bus showed up it was all ok. I will definitely be coming back and bring my family this time! Cayo Levantado island is breathtaking! Props to our guide Joaquin! he is the best of the best!! Thank you GYG for an amazing experience!! See you again next year and please thank your DR supplier for their kind attention to details. I will recommend to all my friends traveling to the island during thi summer!

See the country side on fast & long zip-lines!

A fantastic way to see some of the best views in the DR. Flying through the tree tops and canopies was exhilarating and fun. They say no cameras on the trip, but you can and should bring one with you on the way to the site. You'll see some great views in the truck along the way. There is a locker at the base camp where you can lock-up your stuff and it is completely safe. I had to leave my sunglasses on-top of the locker and they were in the exact same spot as I left them. Great fun!

Excellent organization, beautiful island

They did really theirs best fulfilling "mission impossible". 60 km in DR is a fortune of time. Organization was perfect. The island is beautiful, the beach is splendid, but there are too many boats near it and it is almost not possible to swim. The trip with the catamaran was a nice party, also the way back with the speed boats and the short stop on the second beach. Same is almost everywhere in DR, so maybe 3 hours bus drive is a time to save ...

Excellence, educational, and fun all rolled into one tour!

Angel and Yuma are a great team for this excellent excursion through the Dominican country and beach-side. Angel explains the details of daily life, sugar caning, cocoa/coffee making (tasting included), rum making (more samples), and speaks of traditions, family life, animals, foods, everything. A typical Dominican lunch is included and the day ends with boogie-boarding and/or sunning on Macao Beach. Awesome!
