Good for trying things you never thought you would experience!

Plain and simple: restaurants are very different in Mexico than they are in the US. What I loved about going on this food tour is the amount of "street" food we got to try along with visiting traditional restaurants and stores. I think it's better to go on a local tour (our guide Ricardo was excellent) than to try to explore on your own. Being a shy American, I probably wouldn't have gone up to a taco cart and bought something. I loved Concepcion's tuba water! I wish we had something like that in the US, but I will just have to go back to Vallarta!

Very tasty and informative!

There were 6 friends in our group(plus 3 others). Half thought it was great and well priced. The others thought the tour was over-priced for the amount of food and value. Our guide, Ricardo was excellent. The 3 hour tour was a little bit too long. We loved the mole, beef tacos on the street, tortilla soup, ceviche tostado as well as the tuba juice. Oh and the candy was delicious. I would recommend it for $35 to $40. $50 US is too much.
