Full description
Cross the Ultima Esperanza Gulf to reach the pristine Patagonian sites that are the focus of this expedition. Reaching an altitude of 2,035m, the Balmaceda mountain is a defining natural monument of the Bernardo O' Higgins National Park and is surrounded by the beautiful Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers.

Once the coast is passed, the ship will veer closer through the narrow fjords to the sea wolves reserve in order to reach the mountain. Here you will see how the Balmaceda Glacier drains into the fjords, and further on you will witness the Serrano Glacier and cross the small lagoon formed by its meltwater.

On the return journey, stop in the Estancia Perales ranch and enjoy a delicious lunch typical of the region.
