Full description
No trip to Porto would be complete without a Port wine tasting! The Port cellars lining the beautiful Douro River use only grapes grown in the surrounding Douro Valley, which is probably the most technically difficult wine-growing region in the world.

Start your tour at one of one of the most famous wine cellars in not only the region, but the world – the Sandeman cellars. Then, head over to "Real Companhia Velha" the oldest wine company of Portugal, where you will taste three more wines, accompanied with delicious cured cheeses.

On this 2.5-hour tour, you’ll be taken through the rich history of producing Port, as well as the legacy of a traditional family business and of course, will be able to taste the Port itself!

Please note that due to the limited capacity of the cellar, only 25 tickets are available daily. Enjoy the best Port wine that Porto has to offer, and reserve your spot for this great local experience!
