Saw a Florence that I never would have known existed...a lovely city!

The only disappointment was that our original tickets were for the day when a student climate protest paralyzed Florence. We were not able to get to the bus and when we finally had time to use the tickets, they had expired. Had to purchase new tickets. We enjoyed the ride but the money that we lost because of tickets that we could not use due to local civil unrest has left a bad taste.

Seeing the city from the bus and having an audio guide was the best idea, as I learned so much more about Florence, its history, its architecture, and the link between the two. It is also the best way to reach Michelangelo piazza and other special places that are not in the City centre, and take amazing photos. If you go to Florence, don't miss a trip by hopon-hopoff bus.

Florence Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour: 24, 48 or 72-Hour Ticket Reviewed by

We were taken all over the city, into the tuscan hills and back again all in the space of an afternoon. It was enjoyable to be able to see all of those famous sights in such a short time, perfect for the very quick trip I was taking. It was also perfect for when we wanted to go exploring, since we had transportation for the rest of the day.

I would recommend Line B.... Line B focuses on Florence and Fiesole. The bus includes stops at Fiesole, a famous Etruscan hillside city with breathtaking views of Florence. The entire route takes 2 hours.

I was very surprised that for two (2) of us we were picked up in a minivan! I was expecting a nice luxury sedan. I felt the price of this excursion was greatly Over-Priced for what we received.
