Full description
See the Tasman Peninsula's rugged scenery and infamous sites from above! Enjoy a scenic 30-minute helicopter flight from Port Arthur, located a 1.5-hour drive from Hobart.

Self-drive to the meeting point to check in. Listen to a short safety briefing before meeting your pilot and climbing aboard. Fly south past the Port Arthur Historic Site to the very end of Cape Pillar. See some of the highest sea cliffs in the world stand tall. The cliffs frame the iconic Tasman Island, home to a historic lighthouse and cottages.

The flight across to Cape Raoul will pass over Crescent Bay, Remarkable Cave and the shack community of Carnavon Bay. Look out for brave surfers enduring the southern swell to catch the famous wave at Shipstern Bluff. The return towards Port Arthur will take you over farmland and right near McHenrys Distillery. On good clear days, you will be able to see Mount Wellington and Bruny Island off in the distance to the West.
