What people are saying about Playa del Carmen

Awesome tour guide and beautiful places!

Our tour guide, Chris, made the entire experience worth it. He was very nice and open to our questions and requests, and he helped make sure we were comfortable, rested, and hydrated! We got to see the more touristy ruins of Tulum as well as the lesser traveled but “more authentic” Cobá and cenote in the area. The food was great during lunch! Some advice about the trip: either eat breakfast beforehand or bring some snacks because almost everyone in the group was talking about how they were feeling very hungry before we had lunch. Another tip is that this trip is probably more manageable if you are staying in Playa del Carmen or closer to Tulum because the ride from Cancun is quite long, and you’ll be in the van (which is quite comfortable, at least) for a long time waiting to drop off people in Playa del Carmen/Tulum. Maybe try Chichen Itza! However, if you enjoy car rides where you get to see many lesser-explored areas that you wouldn’t otherwise see, I would recommend going anyway!

Jam packed fun filled day with a lot of adventure.

This was an excellent choice for an excursion on our quick 4 day trip to playa del carmen. Carmen and Javier were great tour guide and driver. She was entertaining, accommodating and well spoken. We really enjoyed seeing the sights of Tulum, Coba and our favorite part was the cenote swim. I would definitely recommend good walking shoes and not sandals for this trip. It's a long day and involves a lot of movement. Coba is hot but a cool archeological site. you can rent bikes or be driven on a tricycle to get to the main pyramid. I would caution that if you bike yourself it is a long ride and the road is very bumpy. The cenote was AMAZING. The water is cool but the stairway can be very scary. Overall i would definitely recommend this excursion to anyone and definitely get in with Carmen - she's great!

A well organised day visiting Tulum, Cobs and a cenote

The tour was sold as being a full day, 06:30 to 18:30, ie 12hrs it was in fact 9he's but this fitted perfectly for the time to look around Tulum before moving on to a centre for a swim and lunch. The trip then on to Coba. There was plenty of time to visit all we had expected to. Downside on the day was 12 persons squeezed into a mini-bus. The guide had limited english but with only 2 Spanish people in the group delivered most of the information in spanish. Overall I would recommend this tour company

A little bit of everything with a wonderfull guide and a tasty lunch

Our guide was wonderfull and gave us lot of interesting information about things we were out to see. the lunch was really good and a lot. Minivan was comfortable and our driver was always waiting for us by it with cold drinks. Just remember to eat some breakfast or take some snack because breakfast they serve is very light. great to have small backpack with you also since its easier to move around.

Great tour with a guide that went above and beyond

It was a great tour, our driver Rafael and tour guide Augustin Navarro were amazing. Augustin kept joking and keeping the bus ride light and went into great detail explaining the history of Chichen Itza when he gave the english version of the tour. The sites are amazing and the lunch was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
