What people are saying about Picasso Museum Barcelona

An excellent tour with loads of interesting facts and laughs shared

I loved the tour as the guide was very passionate about Picasso and the history of his art work. We walked around the little back streets and saw where Picasso exhibited his first works of art in the 4 cats. We then walked along the streets listening to our fabulous guide talk about Picasso's life in Barcelona. We eventually ended the tour in the most stunning palace which houses Picassos works. The architecture alone of this museum is breath taking. A must see for all who love Picasso and architecture. The works shown in the museum where very interesting. It housed several of his portraits which he painted at the mere age of 11. These alone were outstanding works of art. So many pieces within the exhibition were fascinating to see up close. The tour guide was so kind and helpful. My children and my mother and l walked back to the information point with him. I can honestly say it was the best tour of our trip. If you love Picasso and Cubism you must go on this tour.

A great way to learn more about this amazing city and amazing artist!

This tour was great, walking you through the small alleys of the Gothic area of the city, learning about important points of the life of Picasso and learning more about his inspirations coming from Barcelona. José was a great guide, answering all our questions as they came up and really helping us understand the material - - even going as far to make sure we understood the background of the phrase "4 cats". You could tell that this material really interests him, so he was enthusiastic and knowledgeable on the subject matter. After walking the streets and learning about Picasso's life in the streets he actually lived in, we went to the museum and were guided around the material in a clear way. While the guided part through the museum was only an hour, it gave you the information necessary to either reanalyze the pieces after on your own or enough information to really understand and not need to go back through!

The guide had great English, interesting information and interesting s

It was fun to see a bar where Picasso spent time as well as places he lived and was inspired. Unfortunately, the museum is extremely crowded. This is not anything the tour company can control because the museum does not have timed entry. Also, anyone taken the store should be aware of this is not the top location for Picassos in some ways. Guernica, for one, is in Madrid. But this is a very large collection. I enjoyed it very much. I believe my favorite part was the outdoor mural had created. He

Wonderful museum enhanced by a brilliant and kind guide.

The museum is an eye-opener with many of Picasso's early paintings, showing his obvious early talents. Not very many paintings from my favorite period, the Blue period. Our guide knew her art history and enlightened our understanding of Picasso's work. My wife had hurt her back and struggled during the tour. Our guide, was able to get her a wheelchair and she slowed down the tour to accommodate my wife's physical pain. An intelligent and kind guide.

I was thrilled to learn so much about Picasso!! Jordi was awesome!!

I had signed up the day before for the tour. When I arrived my voucher was not in system so that was a problem. The group of employees said I could wait and maybe there would be room. They did their best and last minute I was able to go on tour!! Jordi (George) was the guide and that was my dads name so I think I had additional help from above. All I can say is Everyone was awesome and tour incredible. Highly recommend this. Thank you to all!!
