Milan inside out like only locals can reveal

You can read a travel guide, Google your way around the city, do a hop-on hop-off, but nothing beats a personal tour by someone who knows the city firsthand. For our first touristic visit to Milan (we were here before, but just for work), this walking tour was exactly what we needed. First of all an insightful visit to the Last Supper and then a pleasant stroll passing by all main features of this beautiful city. Sforza Castle, the Scala, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Duomo were all on our route. Briefly interrupted by a short break, allowing us to taste some mouth-wateringly delicious gelato. Constantly accompanied by many stories, not just historical facts, but also plenty of personal observations and comments. As if you were in the company of a friend, not just a professional guide doing his/her job. A super experience and there is one person particularly responsible for that: thank you Beatrice!

A detailed and pleasant introduction to Milan with a vibrant guide!

My daughter and son went on this tour and enjoyed their time with their tour guide, Donna. They appreciated the spacing of the tour, with stops for coffee and lunch, as well as the walkability of the tour. Donna enthusiastically explained all things Milan, especially the art, architecture and ruling history, and provided a great orienting introduction to the city. Donna shared her rich knowledge of the churches, artworks (especially the Last Supper!), and historical landmarks around Milan (opera house, shopping centers, government and financial buildings, castles, etc.), as well as tips on restaurants, transport and Milanese life. The tour familiarized my daughter and son with Milan, which helped situate them for the rest of their time in the city. Would recommend for a fun, structured day!

Guide was excellent. They need to improve how to identify your guide.

There were about 8 people who were unable to identify the guide at the gathering point even though we were all there on time. Texts and calls were made to the booking agency, and were NEVER responded. If you run into trouble with a booking, they will not help you. We eventually found out that our tickets had been left at the entry counter and we caught up with the guide, whom we had noticed outside, but she did not have anything displaying that she was with or leading our tour. She had a satchel with a tour name different than the one we had booked. It was frustrating to have lost a bit of time and information about the main attraction we wanted to see (The Last Supper). That aside, the guide herself was excellent, professional, knowledgeable, with good command of at least 3 languages.

Exceptional and unforgettable tour with a wonderful guide!

The tour was extremely well organized. We had everything ready when we arrived at each place. What really made this tour amazing was Silvia Dondi, our guide. She is full of knowledge: history, the stories about the people and their lives, Milanese perspectives and insightful, touching explanations about Michelangelo's pieta and the last supper. Silvia is a proud Milenese and gave us humorous explanations about many places in the city and answered all our questions in detail. If you like culture, history and art - DON'T MISS THIS! Thank you Silvia!

Great way to maximize a short visit to Milan

We booked this tour mainly to get the tickets to see The Last Supper and since we had just landed in Italy from California ,and only had an afternoon and evening in Milan, figured we could always leave during the walking part of the tour if we got tired or wanted to do something else. Our guide Bea was delightful, interesting and so great we stayed for the entire tour and thoroughly enjoyed the tour, Milan and Bea. Highly recommend!!
