What people are saying about Phillip Island

A nicely paced tour with something for everyone

One of the main reasons I chose this tour over the others was for a chance to visit the Moonlit Sanctuary, and I was not disappointed. The opportunity to feed the kangaroos and wallabies was a definite highlight. Our guide was friendly, informative and helpful as well. My two complaints are that the bus broke down and was more than 2 hours late leaving the city. While waiting for our pickup, which was over an hour late, we were not informed or communicated with and were forced to make an international call to the head office to confirm we were still to be picked up. After losing more than 2 hours from our tour time, we were merely offered an ice cream to make up for it. We should have been partially refunded. My other complaint is that I made a few online inquiries before booking and they were slow to respond, and I was not clearly communicated with, which was frustrating. The tour itself is good but head office/customer service could be improved.

Well organized but quite rushed, Christian kind guide and safe driver

Christian was quite nice, however we were 24 guests and difficult to talk to everybody. He was explaining some things, apart from that we were not chatting with each other. The other guests were mainly couples or groups of families. After start (pick up late b/o traffic issues) we had to speed up. All stops were quick with sharp timing. Additionally, during winter there is a strict schedule, since the goal is to be at the pinguins for sunset, meaning around 5.10 p.o. at that day. First stop at Moonlit Sanctuary with lunch, then walking around for 45 min. Definitely not worth to buy extra tickets for padding koalas or feeding kangaroos! At Churchill Island Heritage Farm 3 lessons e.g. sheep-shearing (horrible) and sheep-gathering by a sheep dog (quite ok). Thereafter to Philip Island. I had baught an upgrade for the penguin parade visiting. But that was definitely not worth it. Later all other people came to that special/expensive area anyway.

My wife and I had an amazing time I'd highly recommend this tour

The only problem we had was that our pick up address sent by get your guide was incorrect however after calling the tour company directly they were very swift with arranging for us to be put on a different bus to be picked up from the location we went to. Our tour guide Daniel was amazing, very friendly and efficient and most knowledgeable, he did am outstanding job and drove us to and from in a timely and safe manor.

Fantastic day, well worth the 2hr coach trip from Melbourne

Great to see the penguins up close as they waddle back to their burrows. Disappointing that you aren’t allowed to take photos of the penguins as a lasting reminder of your visit, but we’re told it’s for the benefit of the birds so you have to take that on board...although many selfishly don’t. Frustrating for those of us that do!

Awesome views, loved the pinguins, long bus drive

Really loved the pinguins. The only downside is that ppl don't behave properly. And they only come out of the water after sundown... don't expect to be back soon. In the great ocean road you get great views, the downside is that you don't have enough time at each spot....and it's a really long bus trip...
