What people are saying about Phi Phi Islands
This tour exceeded all our expectations. It is definitely worth getting up early for the sunrise tour as it seems to get extremely busy as the morning goes on. You are firstly taken to a small Island for breakfast- we were the only people on the Island. We thought the group size was perfect which was around 30. The second Island, bamboo Island is a little bigger, but again we felt as though there were not many other people on the Island making it extra special. On each of the Islands you visit you are provided with ample time to explore a little and take photographs. You are then taken to a number of snorkelling spots, one being a beautiful lagoon and are provided with around 30 minutes at each spot to swim or snorkel. The staff on the boat are absolutely amazing! Our main tour guide was named Sonny who was excellent- the staff continually feed you and provide endless soft drinks. The staff make this trip and cannot do enough to help you and make sure you are having a good time.
The tour was fantastic, after being picked up you'll be taken to the royal marina where you can have some coffee and you'll be provided fins (for snorkeling) and towels if you need them. After that you're off into the beautiful Andaman sea where (weather permitting) you'll witness an amazing sunrise. After a yummy breakfast you'll spend the day sailing from one paradise island to the next. Sonny is an amazing guide, very kind and knowledgeable. There were drinks and snacks in the boat after each stop, and Sunny was happy to take great pictures of me in the islands. The best thing about it: you'll be two steps ahead the tourists every step of the way. By making the extra effort and getting there early you'll beat the crowds, you can see the tourist waves starting to arrive just as you are leaving. Brilliant. Really highly recommend, the included buffet lunch was great too.
Very nice trip. As it was raining a lot in phuket, the journey seemed to be catastrophic at first. Fortunately the sky cleared as we moved towards the other islands. The negative point was that Maya bay was closed, so we couldn’t swim there. Logisticaly speaking, I’d pass the last island we stoped for 30 min (close to pucket already), and would have used the time in the first stop (when the weather was nice), or even adding some more time to the snorkeling time. Overal a good ride. However I’d definitely check weather forecasting for Phi Phi Islands first.
We had booked the sunrise tour but we were changed to this activity since there was some unforeseen complications. However, we were most satisfied with the experience and felt that we was amply compensated for the inconvenience. We got free towels and snorkling gear, with fins and all. The trip was very good and well scheduled. The crew was super polite and nice. Good spoken English and professional guide! We also felt that the crew was on top of security/safety which is always nice! Recommended for sure!
The driver picked us up right on time. It was very early, but it was worth it to watch the sun rise from the boat and beach and to get to Phi Phi Island before the hoard of tourists. By the last island, the sun was BLAZING, so I can’t imagine really enjoying the tour if we started later. Sonny was a great guide. The speedboat ride on the open sea was pretty choppy, but it was still all good.
