What people are saying about Perth Stadium
My husband and I had a wonderful time on the Captain Cook Cruises vessel admiring the beautiful Swan River precinct from Elizabeth Quay. A perfectly warm and calm cruise for relaxation. It would've been beneficial if the crew had asked us if we wanted a cup of tea which we never received even though the tour stated that there was unlimited free tea onboard. Also we would've liked it if the twilight cruise could extend the time to make it a 2 hour tour instead of 1.5 hours. I also thought that the cruise vessel would've stopped for a few moments to capture the sunset over the river for everyone to have a chance to quickly take photos. Otherwise it was an extremely pleasant cruise with good information given to us by the captain about all the landmarks that we went passed.
Enabled us to see the venue from the perspective of players, coaches, broadcasters and spectators on all levels. Informative tour covering the history of the stadium, its architecture, its design features and how it functions on game days. Thanks for the opportunity to see the stadium interior close up and to visit areas not normally accessible to the general public. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed the trip overall, very disappointed in the cheese platter considering the cost and something worth considering would be to clean down the windows on the inside as there was lots of fingerprints on them. Didn't spoil the view but made taking photos a bit hit and miss. All in all I enjoyed it and would recommend to family and friends. I thought the cost of the trip was reasonable.
The only problem I had was finding where the tour started from. The Section D sign was covered up by tents and marquees. From the car park there was no signage where to find the area to assemble. When I asked where to go they directed me to the Rebel Sales Van at Section A. There was no clear Rebel signage where they were selling the Manchester United gear.
The boat was well presented , clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive serving good wine and a cheese platter with great Western Australian produce. The trip represented great value and a quality experience. Andrew and Colleen did a fabulous job
