Top attractions in Perth
Perth in western Australia is set along the Swan River and the Indian Ocean and it gets more sunshine than any other city in Australia so it is the perfect place for being outdoors. Take a walking tour for sightseeing in the city that the mining boons created. Hear stories about pioneers and events that shaped the city. Explore beautiful gardens and see the Swan River. You'll even discover the best bars in town.
Take a combined coach tour and river cruise and see Kings Park, Cottesloe Beach, the Western Australia cricket ground, and the Perth Mint. While cruising down the river, you can enjoy the architecture and views along the Swan River including the Swan Bell Tower.
On a walking tour of historic Fremantle, the port city of Perth, you'll see the scenic town with its dock and warehouses. But a good guide can bring to life the stories of the Aborigines and outlaws who pasted through this port. Art galleries and museums display local art.
You can see the natural side of Fremantle at one of the beaches or by taking a bushwalk in the city park. For snorkeling go to Rottnest Island with its reef to see the underwater wildlife.
What people are saying about Perth
The driver, who had been born and bred in Fremantle, combined successfully facts with humour. The negatives are that the stated meeting point was incorrect. There was a small corflute sign. Not much bigger than an A4 sheet redirecting you to another location. Arrived at this point at 11:00 am but next pick up was 12:30pm. There were only three pick up drop times for the day. Way to infrequent in my opinion. But would still give ride seven out of ten.
Love the way the wild life has been protected. Saw our little Quokers but there was also peacocks, skinks, crows turtles and dolphins and the possibility of spotting some whales on the way over. The ferry was well operated clean and the staff professional and friendly. The commentary on the way over and back was very interesting and full of historical facts about Perth and the island.
Amazing tour. The captains of the boats gave very informative and fun. The tram tour was great and again we had a fun and informative driver. We stopped at the war memorial which was great. The lunch was beautiful and plentiful - lovely butter chicken and cannelloni with salads and bread. Nice cakes. Left the boat feeling happy an amazing way to spend half a day
Great tour guide, telling us story about the history of pinnacles. And he was able to discover and pick up animals on the highway! Great time to see wild animals. wonderful landslide in Lanslin. Stunning sunset at pinnacles. amazing milk way and they had scientific telescope to show us the moon, Saturn and Jupiter
My tour guide, Kate was a lovely lady, she has welcomed me with a warm smile since we first met, until the end of the day when she send me back to Perth city. She is a great tour guide, she has shared some tips for her personal preference like: good coffee, wines, truffle oil, cheese! Strongly recommended!
