What an outstanding host & extraordinary experience.

I enjoy every minute of the experience. The host, Sumi, is truly the best and knowledgeable guide that I ever had while travelling to 14 countries. I was surely touched and amazed by the village's hospitabie people, distinctive culture, religion, houses, lifestyles and of course, the authentic Bali's foods that I and Sumi family cooked together. I fall in love with everything, Sumi's wonderful family and sweet neighbors. This delightful, culturally rich village has so much, so much to offer! I had the best cultural excursions ever. Without hesitation, I happily, highly recommend this experience to anyone who want to touch first-hand uniqe Bail beyond magazines, tv and internet. Sumi definitely got my eyes wide opened and horizon expanded while smiling a lot. Every story is inspiring that I can not wait to share with my American students while teaching Asian history and culture. Go visit Sumi! I know you will enjoy every minute, every story and every heritage as much as I do.

Best of the best... Specially with the guide Sumi and his family

The activity was excellent and exceeded our expectations, the guide Sumi and his family were amazing, we felt home from the minute we saw him. Everything was to superb. My wife participated in preparing the lunch and cooking the food. We learned about the culture, traditions, type of food, cooking methods, history and social rituals of the island. We also learned about the current demographics and social setup of the island. The family was extremely respectable for our religious and cultural values. Sumi was outstanding, extremely accommodating and he showed us everything in the way we wanted. He made our trip to Bali one of the best in our life.

It was a cultural and amazing experience, we loved it.

The guides was very helpful and friendly. The trip through the local village and rice lands was just magical.

Wonderful tour guide, very authentic, book without hesitation!

My husband and I took this tour on our honeymoon. We’re both extremely well traveled and have been to Asia at least 10x, both on low end budgets and very very high end budgets. This really sat on the higher end in terms of service and quality. Our guide was just lovely - he picked us up from the hotel and immediately gave us traditional Balinese outfits to wear. We went to the local market to food shop for the day, which was super interesting to see in and of itself, but made exponentially more fun because all of the locals thought our outfits were just hysterical. They would ask questions, smile, laugh (with us not at us), and it led to some very authentic local interactions. We then took the food to our guides local village which is literally the coolest place ever - one long road with beautifully hand-crafted houses lining each side and no cars or motos allowed (a nice break from busy Ubud). We then prepared lunch in our guides home with his wife and family present. So beyond authen
