Definitely one of the highlights of my entire trip!

Both of my tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. I enjoyed every moment of the tours! This is a MUST do if you want a solid history of the troubles in Belfast.

Fascinating, genuine, sad and disturbing tour, i got a lot from it.

Fascinating, genuine, sad and disturbing tour, i got a lot from it. Still thinking about what was discussed. Really glad I went, wished I had asked more questions as it is a almost unique opportunity to get an unfiltered first hand view/account of 'the troubles'. Thank you

Great experience despite storm Hannah. A lot of reading but worth it.

Great experience despite storm Hannah. A lot of reading but worth it. Quite emotional at parts. If only she got the blessing before she launched it might have been a different story. X

A history tour by the people who lived it and made it.

This was more than just a walking tour - this was an opportunity to meet and talk to those who lived and contributed to the history of 'The Troubles'. Robert and 'Big' Jim were our guides and they were both informative and fair with the presentation of the conflict which unfortunately had such a huge impact on their city and their lives. Both were predictably informative but their story telling was exceptional and brought the murals and many tributes along The Falls and the Shankill Road to life. I would urge anyone who is interested in 'The Troubles' to take this tour; you'll not regret it. I certainly didn't.

Highlight of our trip to Northern Ireland

Not only the highlight of our trip, but the best guided walking tour we ever experienced. Learned a lot about the conflict and it’s legacy from the best possible sources - men from different sides who experienced it first-hand. It was touching, at times funny, other times emotional, enjoyable and sensitively done. Could not recommend this more. Noel and Paul were also very approachable and answered our questions brilliantly. Thanks so much to both for giving us such rare and valuable insight.
