The booking process was very simple. We arrived to Versailles via the RER. We allowed time to find the offsite location to get our tickets validated. We waited for Valdarina our guide who was very nice and walked us to the Chateau and provided us with our headsets. From the main entrance she then set us on our own to explore the Castle. Absolutely beautiful. If you have not visited before, when they say the gardens are enormous that is an understatement. Over 2000 acres! If you have time, you should purchase the separate ticket into Marie Antoinette's estate the Trianon. We did not go in but we walked to the outside of this particular part of the estate. A must see if you are ever in Paris. I would certainly recommend using Get Your Guide for your tours when traveling.

If you love to travel but hate to wait, this is for you. A small group met at a location a short walk to the palace. We were joined by Valdina, our guide/ escort, who walked us over, explained the procedure, took us through security and got us our audio guides. We were in within minutes and were able to spend the whole afternoon in the palace and around the grounds.

Staff at the agency was very friendly and explained everything very clearly. I bought timed tickets and we still had to wait almost an hour to get in. It probably was due to the season (December) and everything was packed, however it would be nice to get what we pay for
