What people are saying about Paris

when they say 'skip the queue' they mean it! breath taking experience.

myself and my partner pre booked tickets to the catacombs for 12.30pm, we arrived at around 12 and were shocked to see a mile long queue around and down the street. however, that queue was not for us as we has pre booked there was a separate queue with no people there; we were quickly seen by a member of staff that asked to see our tickets and were asked to come back 10 minutes before our slot, we did as asked and went to grab a quick coffee in the McDonald's which was a 2 minute walk up the street. As we retured, the pre booked ticket queue was slightly longer (around 10 people, however this was still nothing compared to the non ticket hold queue).. we waited around 5 minutes, entered the building. After a quick and easy security check, my partner had to quickly finish his drink as no drinks are allowed unless secured with a tight lid and / or in a bag. We collected our audio guides, which we had pre paid for. I highly reccomend this as they give detailed information and are easy.

Best guide ever. Make sure you get the same Australian guide !

I have been quite a few times to the Eiffel Tower and must admit I did not look forward to go there again but felt obliged since there were a few family members who hadn't seen the view and heard the story about the tower. However, we wer fortunate enough to get an Australian guide (I guess his name was Lindsay) who was so competent, flexible and entertaining so the guided tour turned out to become a real interestering visit to one of the most fascinating and iconic iron structures in the world. The guide knew so many anecdotes about Eiffel himself, but also about historical persons that have visited the tower so time just passed very quickly. I have been travelling twice around the globe and have had guides on many corners of the globe; When riding in Mongolia, diving in Sipadan in Malaysia or when visiting French Polynesia but this was probably the best guide I ever had. Engaged, competent and very careful about that adapt to the level of each participant in the group.

A good investment if you've little time but want to see the Louvre

The guide meets you and will point out all highlights during the trip inside. You will pass all queues as promised. Our guide was an art student and gave us several interesting aspects of different paintings and of course - which is important if you have a limited amount of time and much to see - she knew exactly where to take us inside of this giant palace which also saved time. The guide's English was good but the earphone was not so good so it was a bit tricky to hear everything she said.

Good tour and itinerary, good lunch at Eiffel Tower.

Bus tour and water tour very good. Trip to Eiffel tower spoilt by bad information - we were told to go to the second level, see the sights, then go to the first level for lunch and then go to the top. This is not possible unless you can walk up the stairs from the first to second levels, which we could not. The only alternative then is to go back to ground level, exist the tower and buy new tickets to get back in - not an option! Otherwise a well organised tour and good value for money.

Informative guide, too many visitors, especially documentary wannabes.

Gabriella was informative and interesting, the site is a historical must, but the crowds - especially those who believe their photos and videos take precedence over good manners and others' enjoyment - significantly detract from the experience. Perhaps, tourists should be taught that most of the visuals are already on line. Furthermore, perhaps they should be taught how to be considerate of others. It appears some have no clue that other individuals exist.
