The by-line queue was sometimes quite long .. Several crucial things were not informed about - such as do not throw a metronome when used up. We got in trouble because we used the one-day bill first and didn't get through on the five-day bill the next day. We finally managed to argue for an upgraded five-day ticket.

Excellent, it avoids the queues. Only two in which would be the perfect choice without: 1) not valid for the Eiffel Tower; 2) you are obliged to pick it up at Pyramides at a specific time. It would be perfect to receive everything at home or pick it up at a point at the airport

There is no waiting time at the ticket counters, but you still have to queue in front of the security checkpoint at every attraction. It does not take into account whether you have a pre-booked ticket or a Paris Pass. Conclusion: you still have to wait, but not for so long.
