At the reception center a young woman took our reservation and promptly returned with our tickets. We liked everything about the bus tours except that we could not get back on at Montmartre. Both red and blue covered everything we wanted to see. The seats up top were comfortable and the ride was generally smooth. And the audio system worked well. The tour of the Louvre was great. I liked our free time without a guide. And the bateaux ride which we took from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. was outstanding as we saw the flickering lights of Tour Eiffel twice.

The boat trip can be scheduled as you like, I recommend it, especially in summer, to enjoy it in the evenings. The included Louvre Fastline tickets are worth their weight in gold here, as you can just leave the insanely long queue at the ticket office and thus get to the Louvre faster. It seemed to me that the majority of the visitors only came because of the Mona Lisa, since the line to her does not seem to end within the Louvre either. When we arrived at the Mona Lisa it was just a simple and simple said mass processing. In groups you can approach the picture, take pictures, selfies etc. and after less than 1 minute the security staff made you rough and with a loud announcement sent on again. The Bus Pass is not worth the money, you don't need a 2 day ticket.

Very good, but with obstacles

I would not book the bus tour with “Big Bus Tours” again for Paris. Compared to the other providers, there were far fewer exit options, especially on the Montmatre route. The visit to the Louvre was definitely worth it and the boat tour on the Seine was also very nice. I liked the climb to the viewing platform of the Arc de Triomphe the best. It was really a great experience! Mainly because we did the evening and from there at 22:00 o'clock we were able to see the sparkling Eiffel Tower wonderfully.
