What an utterly delightful experience. I overlooked the description saying the tour was in French, which I can read at some level, but cannot speak. Les Necromantiques (the operators) were in touch with me quickly to point out this oversight and were very helpful as I decided what to do. Ultimately, limited time won the day and I went. Although I could understand only about 1 in 7 words the guide spoke, he was highly entertaining, even leading us in singing La Vie en Rose at Piaf's grave. I found myself laughing a great deal and looking on in wonder quite often. Others on the tour were helpful in clarifying some things and we visited corners that might have been difficult to discover on one's own. The esteemed documentarian of funerary arts, M. Andre Chabot, joined us and shared observations. I was privileged to speak with him several times during the tour. Overall, this was truly memorable and I highly recommend it.
