Full description
Explore the Somme, where a dramatic period of history took place, on this full-day Anzac Day trip to the Somme Battlefields, and see the major memorials, cemeteries, and battle sites of World War I.

Departing Paris, transfer to the small town of Villers Bretonneux, where the Victoria School was built in 1923-1927 as a gift from the children of the state of Victoria in Australia to the children of Villers-Bretonneux as proof of their love and goodwill towards France.

Go to the Adelaide Cemetery to pay your respects to the fallen soldiers. See the deep Lochnagar Crater left behind at La Boiselle in 1916, providing a stark testimony of the ravages of war.

Visit the site of the Battle of Pozières, see the poignant Memorial to the Missing of the Somme at Thiepval. Visit Péronne to see the war memorial of Mont Saint-Quentin overlooking the Somme River, and much more.
