What people are saying about Paracas

Excellent tour with Olenka and Jorge; very knowledgeable and friendly.

We did the full day tour, and really enjoyed both Islas Ballestas and Paracas National Reserve. Our guides were great, and were very supportive and patient with our interest in birdwatching. We had lots of time to enjoy many spots, and never felt rushed. They helped us with our Spanish, pointed out birds, and were great company for a great day. We would highly recommend Las Adventure for this trip.

Great trip, well worth doing if you don’t have much time in Peru.

I chose this tour as I didn’t have much time to sightsee on a business trip. There is a lot of travelling but it’s great to see the farms and coastline as you travel (and catch up on sleep!) and all of elements are well worth the journey. The pisco tasting is very generous and the views at the oasis are breathtaking. Highlight was still the penguins! My guide was really kind and friendly. I was the only one on the trip and he was very chatty. The only downside was I booked the trip hoping to be part of a social group. However I still really enjoyed it being the only one.

Ballestas, Winery, and Huacachina Oasis Trip from Lima Reviewed by Madeleine, 05/27/2019

Lots of car time to see two amazing sites

This trip is as it’s advertised. It’s a FULL day majority driving in the car. From Lima you are in car 3 hours to Paracas then boat for 2 hours then drive to Nazca almost 4 hours, approx 30 min plane ride then 6+ hour return drive to Lima. Boat trip- we saw penguins, lots of sea lions, starfish, Pelicans and other birds. Driving to Nazca- you drive through the oasis town of Ica, and the Peruvian desert Nazca fight- the pilot takes you over 10+ geoglyphs making it possible for passengers to see from both sides of the plane 2 of the other 3 passengers got sick. Prior to leaving i used motion sickness meds and felt ok. Bringing snacks and water is a MUST. Because of the long travel time stops are primarily for fuel/bathrooms There is a local food vendor at the Nazca airport. During the long drive you can sleep (as our guide did) or sight see. It would have been helpful to be able to ask questions about the sights as we drove. I wouldn’t recommend driving this trip yourself
