Full description
Depart for the the world’s most famous manmade lake at 8:30 and spend 6 hours touring the area. Lake Gatun was constructed between 1906 and 1914 to make the Panama Canal possible.

From the lake’s shore you will board fast motorboats for a voyage of discovery. Navigate above ancient routes that crossed the isthmus long before the lake's creation. Huge ocean ships can be seen gliding across this water bridge that links the Caribbean Sea to the Pacific Ocean. See history in the making with the works to expand the canal.

Glide past lush tropical forests to a scenic region of the lake and see the splendor and excitement of the jungle first-hand. Exotic birds, monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and crocodiles are just a few of the animals that you can view in their native surroundings. The sights, sounds, and scents that make up this tropical paradise will engulf you.

Your ultimate destination will be the only floating house on the lake. This 2-story structure has plenty of room for you to relax and enjoy the day. A delicious native-style lunch with refreshments will be served. Afterwards numerous activities are available at no additional costs. Explore on your own while kayaking, swimming, and fishing.

It was right

They came looking for us on time and the walk was fine, we couldn't see many animals but well that's not anyone's fault. The lunch meal seemed quite scarce and they do not give dessert, they should improve this and the other thing is that I hired the tour with a guide in Spanish and it turns out that it was English-speaking because all the other passengers spoke English, when I complained and insisted that I had hired in Spanish the boy made an effort and explained some things to me. I speak and understand a lot but my husband did not and I paid for a guide in Spanish, I did not have to do as a translator, so if you are not going to comply with what one chooses, it is better not to put the option.

A good option to get to know Panama naturally.

They fulfilled the services and were punctual. Our criticism is towards the organization of the guides. All were dedicated to the French and English-speaking groups. We were 2 that needed explanation in Spanish. The person driving the boat helped us and thanks to him we knew what to do. The guide (James I think his name was, tall, bald with a beard) ignored us, I think because he didn't speak our language. He didn't even try to make himself understood. Nicolás worried despite being with another group and helped us. I think they should clarify that the tour is in English before selling it, since when we hired it it said Spanish-English. If it wasn't for the driver, we didn't understand anything they explained.
