Full description
The trip starts outside the Oslo Visitor Centre at Jernbanetorget in Central Oslo. After meeting your local guide, take the Frognerseteren metro line to Lillevann. This is a great train ride, so be ready to enjoy some fantastic panoramic views and be sure to bring your camera.
The view from Lillevann across Lake Bogstad and Sørkedalen is magnificent. Hike through an exciting and varied landscape down to Strømsdammen, Sørkedalen, and the beautiful Bogstad Farm. Bogstad Manor is located here within this stunning landscape. Bogstad Manor dates back to the 18th Century and has beautiful interiors and grounds and is one of the few Manor houses in Norway. Your guide will explain to you the history of this place.
After that, you'll hike past Lake Bogstad and return via public transport to Jernbanetorget.
