After being picked up at the meeting point, travel through the mountainous heart of Wakayama prefecture to Koyasan. This World Heritage Site resembles the center of a lotus flower, as it is surrounded by eight peaks that form the petals. It is known to be the center of Shingon Buddhism.

Enjoy some free time to stroll around the monastery complex and learn more about Shingon Buddhism. After some exploration, discover the Toretore Fish Market, one of the largest in the country. Here, enjoy a traditional seafood lunch. Visit one of the most famous hot springs in Japan, Shirahama Onsen to relax in a traditional and historical hot spring.
