Full description
This tour will take you to the northern part of Kyoto prefecture from Osaka, where you will be able to find good old Japan, remaining traditions and beautiful nature away from the mayhem. Your full-day trip will start from Namba. A tour conductor will pick you up from the meeting point at 07:10. Take a bus and drive up to the first destination. After a comfortable 2.5-hour bus ride, you will arrive in the stunning sandbar of Amanohashidate. Located in Miyazu Bay in north Kyoto prefecture, this thin strip of land forms part of the Tango-Amanohashidate-Ōeyama Quasi-National Park. Named one of the "Three Views of Japan," the 3.6 kilometer spit of land is covered by around 7,000 pine trees and connects 2 opposing sides of Miyazu Bay.

Take the cable car in Kasamatsu Park for a stunning view of the Amanohashidate Sandbar from the observatory. After enjoying the beautiful scenery, you will have a lunch at Hashidate Daimaru Restaurant. A lunch menu is all you can eat seafood cuisine including sushi, sashimi, grilled fish, seafood and more for 50 minutes. Next, you will visit Ine no Funaya, a hidden tourist destination. Funaya means “boathouse” in Japanese. The first floor of the houses are use for a boat garage and upper floors are for living. The houses appear to be floating on the sea. Take a boat to see the unique fisherman’s houses from the sea.

After that, you will move to Miyama Kayabuki no Sato, where many thatched roof houses still exist. This is a popular place where you can enjoy the breathtaking rural landscape with feelings of nostalgia. Visiting will be a good opportunity for you to experience this authentic feel of rural Japan. Return to Osaka at around 18:00 to 19:00.
