What people are saying about Osaka
We had limited time in Kyoto and had spent too much time on the Tokyo metro gettin from place to place so I booked this for my 12 year old son and me. It was air-conditioned and so comfortable and took out the extraneous transport times from place to place. I loved that we had mostly time on our own at the temples, just given times to meet back. We opted for the tofu lunch and it was a dining experience that was just amazing. I've never tasted tofu like that! The buses seemed well coordinated with outher tour buses so we were never jam packed. The guide was just fantastic. When we didn't have umbrellas at the Golden Pavilion and it was pouring, she ran back to the bus to find us some. I've already recommended this very tour to friends going to Japan next week!
My guide Sebastian was a student from Manilla with 1 year in Osaka. Able to speak Japanese and know the way in metro/walking around. Even before arrival he contacted my via whatsapp, which I thought was really good and helpfull. He had patience to guide me around while me taking pictures, and took good care of me with regular places for rests, coffee and lunch. He was really very nice and he showed me the key things. Thanks Sebastian!
The guides were really helpful organising bus, train and boat ride. They made the break very clear and it was the perfect opportunity to go to the castle grounds. It was handy to get from one place to another but there was a huge emphasis on shopping malls. It would have been more interesting if they had included some early history and pointed out other information about the areas. Some of the bus stops were difficult to locate.
Sivana was an exceptional guide with a great energy and exciting conversation. Very well informed about the unknown aspects of Osaka n Osaka culture. She very quickly found our preferences and showed us a side of Osaka not mentioned in the tourist pamphlets. Very helpful in giving us recommendations for restaurants and night life activity for us to do on our own after the tour, which were indeed great.
Our guide Mie was personable, knowledgeable and shared many insights into both Osaka’s street food and many other aspects of Japanese culture. More than enough food experiences over the 3 hour tour, insightful glimpses of Osaka night life and much fun. Well worth it. Thank you Mie
