Full description
The tour begins with pickup from your hotel by your friendly Spanish-speaking guide. Get acquainted with one another and listen to an introduction about the tour’s itinerary, you can also let your guide know which sights and areas interest you most, and customize the tour to suit your needs. Then it’s time to set off onto the vibrant streets of Tokyo!

The first stop of the day is the Asakusa district, which is the center of Tokyo’s shitamachi, meaning ‘low city’ in Japanese. The area is bursting with stories of decades gone by, and you can really get a sense of Japanese history here. Walk to the famous Sensoji Temple, a Buddhist temple built in the 7th century, and soak up the incredibly spiritual atmosphere.

Next, head to the Shinjuku Tokyo Government Building to admire panoramic views of the city from 202 meters above the ground. Admire breathtaking views of the skyline and the world below, and if the weather is on your side, you will also be able to see Mount Fuji. Continue the tour to Meiji Shrine, one of the Japan’s most popular shrines dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. After some time to pray at the shrine, head to the colorful neighborhood of Harajuku where you can enjoy Japan’s popular culture.

After lunch at a traditional Japanese restaurant, you can choose to spend the afternoon in either Akiharaba or Odaiba. Akihabara is a gamer’s heaven and the perfect place to visit for lovers of anime, manga, and gaming. On the other hand, Odaiba is a famous artificial island known for its amazing views of the capital, as well as a selection of shopping centers. Whichever location you choose, there’s plenty of fun to be had exploring these breathtaking neighborhoods.
