This tour is great, as you visit amazing locations. Although most of the time is spent on the bus it is definitely worth it and you get amazing views while on the road. Our guide Jenny was absolutely amazing. She had a good balance between interesting facts, humour, and history so there wasn't a single boring moment! She was so kind and funny and she even had photo props according to the locations that we visited, so it was good fun taking pictures with them! Also she was very clear when speaking (no harsh accent) so even my mom who doesn't speak English that well could understand what was happening. I've done this same tour with a different tour company and this one was better by far! Highly recommend!
The route was through breath-taking countryside. When rolling in the comfortable coach, the driver/guide was commenting on the area or letting us listen to a variety of local/related music. The whole trip was very interesting, comfortable and relaxing. Only drawback: we arrived an hour early back to Glasgow - while we would have loved to spend more time in Inveraray Castle. Also it might be worth considering if not to offer an optional visit to the Oban distillery (booking needed) as part of the tour.
The entire tour was wonderful. Our tour guide Andrew did a tremendous job. We could not get over the Splendor of the Scottish Highlands. We will definitely return to Oban. Andrew provided us with some extras. He had an excellent recommendation for a restaurant in Oban. Our 14 year old granddaughter really enjoyed the tour as well. We highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Scotland the Highlands and the Coast.
The tour lets you enjoy the amazing beauty and variety of Highlands landscape by stopping at around 8 different scenic spots around West Highlands. Thank you to our guide who knew everything and was so passionate about Scottish history. I especially enjoyed the Scottish songs collection.
Andrew was our guide, and he was incredible. Very funny and informative! We had the best time and he even took time to show us some things not on the tour because it was a beautiful day! 100% would recommend to any one and rebook!!
