Amazing guided tour by Newman Lorne, fantastic historical and archeological knowledge given by him, constant information on sites as well in the bus, mixed with witty comments made it even more absorbing and entertaining, adequate time given at all sites, for photos, lunch, etc... Guide Newman accompanied us everywhere, kept timing and headcount, an added advantage of his height kept him in view so we felt secure that he was around. Moreover he went out of his way to drop each n everyone of us and also the review he gave at the end helped us recap everything we saw. Highly recommended tour, most memorable.
Fantastic tour-visiting those places are highly recommended for anyone who is into history and archaeology. There aren’t many places where you can see roman mosaic and crusader fortresses at the very same spots. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, really enjoyed listening to the history of Israel. One thing that was a bit odd for a european: at the end of the tour we felt like we were pushed for tips a bit too harshly. But other than that it was a genuinely fantastic and very enjoyable tour.
Instead of spending so much time at River Jordan for those who did not wish to be baptised, I would have liked to see one or two churches in Tiberias instead of simply driving by. Amir Call Or, the guide of Bein Harim tours was very informative although I felt that he was one of the very few Israelis I met during my 12 day trip here who did not appreciate India.
This was my favourite tour in Israel. Danny was a great guide, must be difficult having a tight agenda but he waited for some of us to get baptised in the Jordan, and for me to figure out what necklace to buy my wife in Nazareth:) All the sights were cool and interesting.
I really enjoyed our tour guide Haya. She was very knowledgeable and able to talk enough for us to enjoy the historical places. The bus was also comfortable with USB charger on the top (might not be available for mini buses tho).
