Cologne: Siebengebirge with SEA LIFE or Drachenfels

Arrived to the ticket office at the pier 9am where we exchanged our vouchers for our tickets and were advised which pier to go to. We boarded shortly after and departed at 9.30. The boat is large with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. You can purchase food and drinks on board. It’s stops at approximately 4 piers on the way to pick up and drop off people. There is s little automated commentary at certain points on the journey. The journey did feel a little long on the way down. We arrived at Königswinter at 1.30 and we were picked back up at 16.40 arriving back into Cologne at 19.00. The railway station in Königswinter is at the top of the road directly across from the pier where we exchanged our tickets for tickets on the Drachenfelsbahn. Königswinter is a small pleasant quiet town. Great way to spend a day

EXCELLENT AND GREAT WAY TO SEE THE RHINE

A full day out. 4hr cruise up the Rhine and a visit to the Cog Railway, Castle ruins and amazing views. We did this on the last day of our trip to Cologne as the flight did not leave 'til late on & didn't want to be waiting around, and it was perfect. Friendly staff on the boat and a beautiful cruise sat on the upper deck soaking in the sunshine.

Excellent evening boat cruise, fantastic views and pleasant sail.

We had a lovely cruise down the Rhine chasing the sunset. Boarding was easy. Food and drink was available on board, although vegetarian options were minimal. We thought that there was an audio guide but this either didn't seem to happen or it wasn't clear as to how to hear this but other than that the boat trip was excellent. Thank you.

Great way to snap some photographs of Cologne

It was very easy to find the ticket office and we had no problems whatsoever exchanging the paper booking for an actual ticket. There was plenty of space on the open air deck and in the closed lower deck that had windows. A nice relaxing trip down the river so you can see views of Dom etc. Food and drink is available. Was worthwhile.

Excellent experience! Good to get to know the area!

We did the 6pm 1hour cruise- it was a little chilly, but we still chose to sit upstairs and it was beautiful. It was a little difficult at times to hear the history of Cologne they were sharing with us but other than that, it’s a great experience to gat a lay of the land and beautiful views of Cologne
