Opens a private doorway into old, artisanal Tokyo - very special.

My 10 year old and I were enthralled from start to finish. Our guide Ikumi was delightful and warm and had so much of interest to share about the history of the areas we walked through, historic shops and businesses we visited - whose wares we sampled - and about Tokyo itself. This was a perfect, secret, private introduction to a beautiful city and culture and I would recommend it to everyone. Ikumi’s sensitive and generous explanations about etiquette and practice at Shinto shrines was particularly beautiful. Enticing my son to eat a cinnamon covered bean paste sweet (which he loved) was a miracle!

Really informative and fun tour and cooking class. Amazing value!

Naomi was an excellent tour guide who clearly loves the Tokyo area and culture. In the fish market she showed us many shops and talked about the things they sold. After that we went to a more commercial part of town for the cooking class. Our instructor, Hitomi, was similarly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food was amazing, I was inspired to buy a tamago pan so I can start making it at home! I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. If you have any interest in sushi or the fishing industry you owe it to yourself to take this tour.

Great Experience! Entertaining afternoon with a very nice guide.

Akemi, our guide, was very nice, heplful and knowledgable. She took us to very interesting places, we could taste a variety of different food. I learned a lot about Japanese culture and traditions, I am glad that I did this tour. Very entertaining as well, I can only recommend it to everyone.

Very interesting tour with a knowledgeable and fun guide.

Sylvia brought us to parts of Tokyo we would not have found on our own. We tasted some local specialty foods and visited some unique shops as Sylvia shared their historical and cultural meaning with us. She was very knowledgeable and fun to spend the afternoon with.

Ayaka was an amazing tour guide! She made Tokyo come alive!

Ayaka's English was so easy to understand and she was a great translator to questions we would have otherwise been unable to learn about in our own. Even things that were not new became meaningful because of her explanations. Would love to take her other tours
