What people are saying about New York City

Hal gave a very informative and touching tour.

Hal was a very well spoken and caring guide. There was a young woman in a wheelchair in our group and he was attentive to her needs. I was happy to learn of the Occulus Mall, it was very futuristic, and the 11 Tears fountain at American Express was new to me and heart-breaking.

It was a lovely relaxed tour with a knowledgable guide

The boat itself was really nice and comfortable. The staff on the boat were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Our guide was vknowlegable and informative. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely. It was difficult to hear the the guide at times which was a little frustrating because we didn’t want to miss a word but I would definitely recommend this tour!

Carriage driver (Emily) was fantastic and Silver was pretty good too.

The park ranger that approached Emily and our carriage at Strawberry Fields was arrogant a$$. Emily handled him in a professional manner!!

My second visit to Ellis Island was even more inspiring than my first.

My second visit, after many years, was more informative & inspiring than my first. The photo & caption displays on the second floor were enthralling as they captured the essence of the times & feelings of America & Americans, who are among the most generous people on earth.. I would have loved to have interviewed the very diverse group of visitors & asked them, many of whom are (or were LEGAL ) immigrants. Of course, my question to them would be what difference do they see between then & now between the determination of immigrants then who were then deemed L.P.C. ( Likely to become Public Charges) & the illegals that are overwhelmingly & predominately at our southern border today?

Really cool experience for the whole family!

Be prepared for goose bumps and thrills! The quick elevator ride up to the 102nd floor will have your ears popping, but you will have no idea you are moving. This is a must see! We opted for One World Observatory over Empire State Building or Top of the Rock. It was a good choice indeed! You probably don't need to spend more on a Skip the Line ticket. It all depends on the day you go. The whole thing was very well organized with employees at every turn ready to assist.
