Full description
Join the Rockettes, Santa Claus and the Toy Soldiers in this once in a life time NYC Christmas experience. Some of the most memorable scenes are the legendary "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers", Santa's magical ride to his workshop at the North Pole, where playful ragdolls come to life, plus the re-enactment of the first Christmas in the "Living Nativity". Incidentally, The Rockettes performed at the inauguration for the president of the United States, George W. Bush, in 2001, and entertained the American troops during wartime.  The package also includes a NYC Holiday Windows walking tour where you will visit famous store windows like Lord and Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue and the amazing lights of the Rockefeller Christmas Tree.

The next day you will see The Statue of Liberty on a fully escorted tour. Meet your guide at Battery Park and enjoy priority boarding for the ferry to the statue on this 5-hour program. Designed by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, the iconic copper statue was built by Gustave Eiffel. Dedicated on 28 October 1886, it was a gift to the United States from the people of France.  Continue to Ellis Island, home to a federal immigration station that opened in 1892 and continued to operate for more than 60 years, before closing in 1954. Millions of immigrants passed through the station during that period. It is thought that at least 40 per cent of all current United States citizens can trace one or more of their ancestors to Ellis Island.

After returning to Battery Park, you’ll visit the National September 11 Memorial, the principal monument commemorating the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001 that killed 2,507 civilians, 72 law enforcement officers, 343 firefighters, and 55 military personnel.  The memorial is located at the former site of the Twin Towers, which collapsed on the day of the attacks. This package also includes a shared airport transfer to any of the 3 Major NYC airports from Midtown NYC hotels round trip.
