What people are saying about New Taipei City
I felt the museum/town was rushed. We didn't need to spend so much time at the lake, since it was too hot to walk down the hill and back up. I would've preferred more time at the Tea Museum (we were very rushed) and more time walking through the tea shops in Pinglin. Thank you! I enjoyed it for the most part. Maybe having a meeting spot central - it would give the guides more time to get us to the venue and explore instead of so many pick ups and drop offs.
Everywhere I go I take my camera, backpack and a cheerful attitude. I start every trip with the goal to experience something new and people who are with me during this trip, make or break the experience. That is why I was pleasantly surprised by spending this day with Rojer as our guide and driver. In one day he showed us many places we could have never found on our own, and we taught him how to brew tea...
The views and scenery on this tour are breathtaking. Our guide, Joseph, was also fantastic. He had so much knowledge of the area and about tea. Although I was initially not that passionate about tea, I was there for the scenery, Joseph’s enthusiasm was infectious and was soon as interested in learning about the different kinds of tea. I would highly recommend this tour.
Terry picked us up on time as scheduled and made our journey comfortable and entertaining. We got to see a lot in a single day with the added convenience of having a car. It would have been multiple day trips if we didn't. Terry went outbid his way to choose ideal drop off locations (considering I was on crouches) and was happy and chatty the whole trip.
Our local guide & driver Jacky Chan was very friendly and courteous. He was really patient and constantly plied us with neat hacks Apart from all tourist majority places, he also took us to a hidden place for the tea ceremony. He mad our trip! Everything was great and perfectly-arranged. We would recommend this tour service to anyone visiting Taipei.
