The tour was a wonderful way to get the feel for the greater New Orleans area, not just the popular French Quarter. Many interesting facts about the area’s history, it’s people and cultural background, and it’s recovery from hurricane Katrina were shared with both humor and serious intone. There was something to see and marvel at everywhere we went and each place had a story that was told to us by our entertaining and knowledgeable guide, Sean Byrd. We would have gone again if time would have allowed.

The guide and driver were both great. If I had known that they would not be coming directly to the hotel as advertised I would have sought an alternative. I was very disappointed with the last minute change to meet a few miles away from the hotel and the excuse of excessive traffic should have been expected and shared when booked not the day before the tour.

A comprehensive and informative history and view of New Orleans. Lovely stops at one of the large cemeteries, and City Park Cafe du Mond, with excellent narration. Our guide gave a thorough, thoughtful, and honest account of New Orleans and her people, the jazz scene and more, from the time of colonial settlement up through the devastation of Katrina and the aftermath.
