The entire plantation is not a guided tour like I thought. it's a quick 30 minute tour of the big house and the rest you look at on your own. a little disappointed that we couldn't take pictures inside, but the tour was good and saw some original pieces to the house. jackie was great. the airboat was insanely fun! if you get a good one, be prepared to get wet as we did a lot of full speed drifting, 360s, and jumping corners and bogs.
you want to make sure you are towards the front of the line so that you can get a good table when you get into the dining room. apparently some people could reserve a table, didn't know that was an option, so there were limited tables by a window. you can watch the jazz band play on a tv screen from inside the room while you eat and the food was delicious. got some historical facts as we were going as well. very pleasant trip.
wonderful boat ride. tour guide was great. clean bathrooms on board, snacks and drinks available for purchase. only thing I would recommend: have more distance between people who are waiting to board the boat (pandemic, 6 foot rule, etc)
This steamboat ride was exactly what you would expect! The music was fantastic!! The captain giving information was informative in a good way! He didn't bore you at all. Was a very enjoyable experience.
The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This was a great way to see many areas of New Orleans and learn about the history of the city. We were so glad we did this tour!
