What people are saying about New Orleans

We loved the tour. Liz, our guide, was wonderful. We started our tour at Tujagues with a beef brisket sandwich. It was heavenly! From there we went to Antoine's, Broussard's, and Arnaud's for turtle soup, shrimp remoulade, seafood gumbo, and andouille gougeres. All the samples were delicious. We also stopped at Leah's Pralines where we had a sweet praline and a chance to buy additional candies. At each stop we were shown the different areas of the restaurants and given the history. It is well worth the money for the three hour tour.

This was a fun and educational tour with top quality food and drinks. We found ourselves returning to some of the bars and resteraunts during our week in New Orleans. We were very fortunate to have a private tour with our guide, Nate as we were the only couple scheduled for the tour that day. Nate is a history graduate of Loyola and had great historical knowledge of the city and the food and drink. It was a relaxed and fun afternoon with a really entertaining guide, so glad we chose this tour!!

Angela was an amazing tour guide. She knew so much about the history of NOLA, it's people, it's traditions and best of all it's food and food scene! She not only provided us with AMAZING tasting food, she gave us great recommendations, historical perspectives, AND followed up with all of it in an email so we didn't have to remember it all. She fit in so nice with our group it was as if she was on our trip with us!! I HIGHLY recommend the tour but also HIGHLY recommend asking for Angela!

New Orleans: French Quarter Food Tour Reviewed by Sangita, 02/10/2020

French quarter food was just that- food. Don’t eat before taking this tour. I did enjoy learning about and tasting NO foods although I would have enjoyed more historical information. Lots of walking too. The garden tour was disappointing but I was tired from the morning tour. Cemetery was closed so couldn’t go in. Rest of tour was walking around neighborhood looking at various forms of architecture. I expected gardens but there weren’t any- just describes neighborhood

We had a little hiccup in the beginning but once everything was settled it was an awesome tour! Michelle did an amazing job explaining the history and picking out the food venues. She also gave us extra information about where to bike the following day. That was a value in itself! We loved all the parks that she sent us to! Definitely another part of NOLA we wouldn't have seen without her. Highly recommend this tour!
