A Fantastic Purchase - great value for money and convenience

I bought the pass thinking it was a good idea, and boy, it certainly was that. Being able to skip the HUGE queue at the Rijksmuseum made it all worth while on its own, but with the other museums and the transport too, it was good. Everyone spoke really good English, but the staff that explained it were really helpful too. The book you get with it took a little time to understand, but once I did, it proved much easier to understand than the other one I took - the Lonely Planet guide (althought that had other useful things in it as well). The only problem with the HollandPass book was that the attraction pages didn't say which sector the attraction was in, only the address. This meant you had to cross reference to another source to group the activities into a feasible day out. But a really good purchase - and it lasts not just for the one trip, so if we get a chance, we are going to go back and carry on with other parts of Holland.

Heineken tour was great, but hop on hop off wasn't necessary.

I recommend the Heineken experience. The company goes through a lot of effort to make it fun as well as informational. However, I found the boat tour part wasn't necessary. If you take a canal tour, you realize that you're really not going along very fast. The tickets would be more beneficial if you're traveling with kids and can't walk the city. In all honesty, it took me thirty minutes to go from central station to the Van Gogh museum...and that included photo stops along the way. If you don't mind walking, you get to see a lot more of the city without canal bus.

A VERY USEFUL PASS ,ESPECIALLY FOR THE ART GALLERIES

Overall, a very useful pass. The only drawback was the time it took to wait in the queue at Skiphol Airport at the Travel desk (20 mins)as we had a taxi waiting for us over the road at the Hilton Hotel, so this made me very tense. The pass was useful for the first 24hrs on the tram and, as we had a pass for 2 venues, we used it for the Rjiksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. We also got 10% off the entry into the Oudekerke, oldest church in Amsterdam. The best thing was we could go in the fast queues at the Art Galleries.

Holland Pass: Access to 100+ Attractions and Museums Reviewed by

A lovely cruise with a really nice crew.

We were a group of 19 persons travelling together. Thus cruise is different from most other canal cruises. The boat is open and there are cushions to sit on. It was a really casual and friendly atmosphere. The captain was nice and he told us about a number of things and about many of the houses we passed. And he also had many fun facts. The hostess was efficient and nice and we had a marvellous time. I and all the other 18 will highly recommend this cruise.

Excellent for visiting with kids, lots of activities

Excellent for visiting with kids, lots of activities that are offered in a very attractive way. You need to come back because there is too much for just one visit.
