Full description
The Museum in Victory Park is a “must-see” on any visit to Moscow. This grandiose memorial was established in 1995 to commemorate the Second World War – it is a huge complex dedicated to the bravery of the Russian people. On this tour, you’ll hear many fascinating stories from our professional, charismatic guides about Russia’s victories in the war. You’ll have the opportunity to see various monuments within the park, including the Memorial Church of St. George, the Holocaust Memorial Synagogue, a memorial mosque, and more.
The tour will also visit the open-air exhibition of military equipment, including more than 350 models of weapons and engineering structures from both sides of the conflict. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the renovated military-historical exposition called “Bravery and Victory of the Great Russian People.” With the help of modern multimedia tools, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of wartime, learn about the role played by the State Defense Committee during the war years, and get acquainted with the history of various types of weapons and combat equipment of that time.
You’ll also visit an exhibition dedicated to the railway troops, as well as the Air Force of the USSR, the Navy’s equipment and weapons and a unique site of Japanese trophy equipment.
