What people are saying about Museum of London

Great tour, and so easy with this service!

This was one of the best tours I've ever been on! The guides for the walking tour were looking for us to arrive and just asked for our names. Rosie, the guide for our group was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! I'd definitely go with her again! She provided headsets, so there was no trouble hearing everything she had to say. We had an opportunity to sit down in the shade at one point. Then we were dropped off at the War Room Tour. I'd allow at least 3 hours to see the Churchill Museum and the War Rooms. An audio guide was included with the price. I have minor claustrophobia, but managed fine even though we were underground those few hours. There are marked exits and personnel available throughout, so that helped. But if you have a great deal of problem with claustrophobia, this is not the tour for you. It was, to sum up, memorable and inspiring! I can't say enough!

Too many people in the war rooms and museum

Really enjoyed the walking part of the tour and, even as a Londoner, learnt a few things of interest. The War rooms and museum were very interesting but a little spoilt by the number of people in there, making it difficult to flow and properly see everything. The film at the start of the war rooms visit, was difficult for everyone to see, as was delivered to a large number of people standing in a fairly small room. Really did enjoy the overall experience, just think that people numbers could be better controlled.

Great Tour Guide & the only way to skip the line in Churchill's War Rm

The tour guide gave a great overview of the City of Westminster, things I wouldn't have seen just walking through myself. Churchill's War room doesn't have guided tours or skip the line entry - except for this tour, as far as I could find. When we got to the entrance, there was a long line but we walked right in - spending the past hour touring Westminster rather than just standing in the sun.

The walking tour of Westminster was excellent--brought history to life

The walking tour of Westminster was excellent--the guide brought history to life, with many interesting stories. The War Rooms tour was really interesting, but I was surprised to find out that portion was not guided and instead was an audio guide tour. That should be noted, so people can decide if that's what they want. Because I'm hearing impaired, that was not really a good option for me.

Roberta was enthusiastic, highly knowledgeable, charming, and great!

We totally enjoyed our time with Roberta at the British Museum and would highly recommend her. She was inspiring and very knowledgeable about the works — and welcomed some of us “chiming in” with more bits of info. One can imagine that some tour guides might find this tiresome— but she was totally charming!
