What people are saying about Museum of Decorative Arts
The most difficult part was getting to the location to pick it up . It changed 3 times ! Took most of an afternoon to track it down. Kept sending us to different places ! Once we received it . It was very good . Immediate access to Louvre & Metro & transit . Wish we had more time to take advantage of all items the items &Opera house was included. River Cruise was great. Better directions to which dock would have helped. Stood in line 20 min to find out need to go to other place . Was also told by one person we could board at 3 different places , not true , only one place by Eiffel Tower. Please correct confusion about pick up & more detail about boat cruise.
Having this pass helped my family immensely while we were touring Paris. It saved us literal HOURS by not having to wait in line for tickets at individual sites. Purchasing it ahead of time relieved stress on our budget. With so many options and places to visit, we went to many that we just happened to be near allowing our schedule to flow easily and brought us to many that we either were unaware of or wouldn't have thought to visit! This is definitely a must for the savvy traveler!
We saved time at several places such as the Louvre and the Orsay museums. This pass is not accepted at Montparnasse Tower; you need the Museum pass card or tickets specifically bought for Montparnasse Tower. Staff was helpful when we picked up the passes and were asking questions snout what to see.
The pass would be benefecial for people staying in Paris for 3 days at least to cover many museums. The arrangement should be also grouped according to location so people can easily plan the visits. Also, the office is quite far from the musems.
I bought the 2 day pass and ended up going to 4 venues that ended up costing about the same as what I paid for the MP. But for 2 of those places (Louvre and Musee Dorsay), the lines for buying tickets would have added maybe 2 more hours.
