Gabriel met me at my hotel. The van was comfortable. After picking up a few other guests, we drove about an hour to the cenotes. We visited three cenotes in total, walking from one to another. One was completely enclosed, one partially enclosed, and the final one open. Afterwards, we ate a meal at the restaurant on-site. There were vegetarian options.
Gustavo’s, our guide and instructor, was fantastic. Knowledgeable, fun and so full of energy. He made everyone feel welcome and a part of the cooking team. A very well organized activity offering an authentic cooking experience and great food. I highly recommend this tour.
Eduardo, our guide, was knowledgeable and helpful. I would have preferred to leave downtown a bot earlier to enjoy swimming in the cenotes before the crowds. Riding the truck was a fun experience, and the food was tasty. Habanero salsa is a must.
Want to learn about Mexico and Mexican food? Take this food adventure. Enjoying walking through the market and learning about food and spices. Loved taking the bus to Auntie's home to make authentic Mexican food. Such a great experience!!
A great tour to take. Our guide Edgar was really knowledgable on the culture and food plus very friendly and professional.
