Great tour and value for money - highly recommended!

I did the Mt Wellington, Bonorong Wildlife, Mt Field and Richmond tour with iWander Tasmania. Jarrod, the owner, was a great tour guide - he was very knowledgeable and passionate about Tasmania and made efforts to get to know his customers. A great bloke with a kind heart who offered to drop two other tourists who were not part of our tour back at the visitor centre as they were lost. Although we were unable to head up to Mt Wellington due to the weather conditions, Jarrod was very flexible and made quick alterations to the journey to allow us to cover all the other locations and offered some new locations/variations to us. I was also quite grateful he didn't cancel the tour despite there being some cancellations due to the weather and there only being only 3 customers on the tour. Keep up the great work!

Engaging tour guide, interesting activities, comfortable driving.

I really enjoyed this tour! We visited three sections of Mt Field, with our knowledgable guide explaining the differences in plants and animals as we moved up the mountain. Bonorong was really fun, and involved a short informative tour around the sanctuary, which concluded with an opportunity to pat a koala. Our remaining time at the park was spent hand-feeding kangaroos, which is always lots of fun. We then visited Mt Wellington, but had the conditions been poor, we would have taken an alternative trip to the beach for some hot chips. Overall, our guide was friendly and full of interesting facts, and the trip was comfortable and enjoyable.

Well organized, I saw really much on a single day.

Seeing five different places on the same day: A waterfall, an area with highest trees, a lake with alpine flora, cute animals you can feed and pet, the peek of a really high mountain with an excellent view - you cannot experience more in a single day. And still the guide was relaxed and we were not too much in a hurry, though it might be nice to stay somewhat longer at each stop. Our guide Dave told us many things and answered questions - he really knows a lot about the subjects and places. Despite some rain I enjoyed the tour very much. The stems of the gum trees were especially colorful when wet.

The best small group guided tour in Hobart

I would highly recommend iwanderTasmania. I had a wonderful time exploring Russell falls in Mt Fields, Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and the beautiful city of Richmond. Unfortunately I couldn’t go to Mt Wellington that day due to road closures for repairs but Jarrod informed me well in advance so I could go there another day. Jarrod took us to see Mt Nelson and Cascade Brewery instead which was wonderful. Jarrod was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. The coach was very comfortable and clean. Thank you Jarrod for an amazing day

Great value tour & insightful guided tour

My trip with Connor as a guide was absolutely fantastic for a jam- packed day tour to various parts of Tasmania. He was insightful & really chilled attitude made our group tour relaxing & enjoyable. We have managed to see so many different parts at a great price. Central hotel pick up service was very convenient. Only issue was (mouldy smelling) the tour bus for those of us who are health conscious, definitely not favorable. Highly recommend for budget conscious travelers wanting to fit many sight-seeing itinerary.
