What people are saying about Mostar
I was nervous about this tour because I had read reviews from other travellers that weren't great (citing issues with pick-ups and customer service), but my experience couldn't have been better! I booked the trip the night before and worried my request wouldn't be seen by the morning so I contacted the reservations team and within an hour they called me to confirm with my pick-up time and location. Our tour guide was on time, friendly, and full of information from the beginning of the trip until the end of it 12 hours later. Driving along the coast of Croatia into the mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina was beautiful and made the trip seem fast. Our walking guide in Mostar was great as well, and overall, it was a great experience! I was worried we wouldn't get to spend much time in Mostar because of the other cities, but we had a one hour walking tour and two hours of free time in Mostar, which was just enough to explore the old town and for a quick lunch.
We were picked up on time by a very friendly driver with good English. The tour ran smoothly and even though there were many check points to go through we didn't wait long at any of them. The driver stopped for convenience stops and made sure that the facilitaties were clean. The driver was very informative and spoke of personal experiences during the war. Mostar is beautiful and we'll worth visiting.
Marko was an excellent guide and asked us what we wanted to do and how long which was great. There were 6 of us in the group and we each had an amazing time regardless of the thu get storm we had. We went right through borders without a car in front of us each time and got to really enjoy the cities. The weather was horrible but Marko got us back safety as well. An amazing trip!
This was an awesome experience! We really enjoyed the waterfalls and if it was earlier in the season we would have wanted more time so we could swim. Mostar was good, there was time for lunch and wandering through a very large market, they refused to barter their prices. We really like the last little village, the fresh fruit was delicious and the people were friendly.
It was a wonderful day but we had to pick up several people along the route. I did not like the fact that it was a large bus. The day before we went in a van to Bosnia and was better to get around and less hassle at the border because of more people to process. I would not take a large bus again. Mosel was beautiful
