Interesting tour with one of the famous Malta vintage buses

The Palazzo Parisio was a very interesting and fascinating experience and the history and background was also very well explained by our guide. This place alone was well worth this tour, the Dingly Cliffs were then quite another kind of big experience with their fantastic views. Snacks and drinks offered in Buskett Gardens were a nice last program on this tour. An extra bonus was that the tour was effected by the old Malta bus from the late fifties. Great fun, but although the seats were comfortable there is not much space for people with long legs. But it should not be a major problem, the distances are rather short. Another smaller problem was that it sometimes was difficult to hear what our guide told us during the ride because of the noise from the engine. And perhaps another 3rd sight would have made the tour still better and quite complete, f.i. the Verdala Palace itself, but understand that the palace is rather seldom open for visitors. Anyhow, thanks for an interesting tour.

Eye-opening sights with a guide who made sense of all the history.

I cannot stress how enjoyable this trip was and the importance of experiencing this part of Malta's past. The guide made what I was seeing come alive and I learned so much from her summations of what was being presented. A lovely day among Malta's prettiest temples. And no stress--I was picked up at the time promised and returned to my hotel on time so I could make my plane flight. The only negative was not GETYOURGUIDE's fault-- The Taxien temple was closed to the public and could not be visited. Bummer.

Very fun tour! Bought amazing seafood lunch in Marsaxlokk.

The Blue Grotto was fun. Sit on the left or front of the boat for the best pictures. I was on the right and could not get much. Marsaxlokk is a nice fishing village. Fishing boats are colorful. There is a seafront row of restaurants to choose from. The market is a combination of farmer's market with fresh produce and fish combined with a flea market of souvenirs and cheap clothes etc.

The guide Ronnie was a real treat - great knowledge & enthusiasm!

It was a bleak, rainy day but the guide maintained a fantastic running commentary and ensured we all experienced the wonder and mystery of the rituals of these amazing sites. They are enormously important and the best prehistoric temples I have visited and worthy of protection and preservation. I enjoyed the tour very much and would recommend it to anyone.

A very interesting and well organized trip

- The travel schedule was rigorously respected - The guide proved leadership qualities and provided detailed explanations on the tourist attractions included in the tour - We had enough time to feel the atmosphere of the places we passed through - Note: The Blue Grotto can be accessed by boat only if the waves are not too high
